We are seeking a passionate, ambitious graduate to join our sales team to work on a fantastic project.

This position is responsible for identifying through best practice how WD-40 Company UK can more profitably service regional accounts under £2k. Present an array of innovative options to allow management to come to a practical solution that can then be implemented within our business model to effectively manage and profitably grow these accounts.


The successful candidate will be passionate about solving problems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assess the entire UK market for small accounts to identify size and scope of opportunity. This would include identifying things such as: how many accounts identified; type of account; channel; online capabilities; geographic location – how many per region; growth potential – trading history; ability to do business – who and how; part of bigger buyer group; use of wholesalers; and order frequency/regularity.
  • To obtain insights on the business model and processes, will work cross-functionally on a day to day basis.
  • Utilize effective research methods, and analysis to understand current market conditions and general market trends to include: customer visits – identify costs to serve and customer preferences; other businesses’ approach to managing and growing small accounts; wholesaler/distributor options for fulfilment or third-party fulfilment; warehousing/packaging; other global colleagues; insight from sales team.
  • Utilize efficient project management skills to scope project timeline for implementation including: recommendations (technology – CRM, telesales, eblasts, surveys; costings of options/solutions and business; timing; proposal/plan of implementation; key dates for delivery.
  • Present, in a manner agreed to by incumbent and management, to leadership for approval, assist in planning introduction of solution/s, and establishing measures of success.


What You’ll Bring to the Role


  • Degree in marketing or business with experience in digital strategies for solving business challenges.
  • GCSE – 5 A-C.
  • Demonstrate collaborative and independent working
  • Worked with Microsoft Office
  • Preferred German and/or French


  • Master’s degree
